A TV presenter and property expert stepped back in time and literally put herself in her mother’s shoes before hosting a VIP property masterclass in St Helens.
In preparation for the event she is hosting at the new Crown Decorating Center in Ravenhead Retail Park, Sian Astley unearthed a photo of her mother, Dorothy Cooke, who modeled for Walpamur, now Crown Paints, in the 1960s.
Dorothy was a secretary at Walpamur at the time and was chosen for her modeling looks to star in the new ad campaign.
Of course, her daughter also became famous in the world of interior design and real estate and thought it would be fun to recreate the original image from the photoshoot. .
