LIMERICK – Buyers of Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Limerick will soon have a choice of two new retailers. The two new stores are clothing stores – one offers clothing for the whole family, while the other specializes in women’s clothing.
Vineyard Vines is slated to open its 3,400 square foot store later this week in suite 1131 near the adidas store.
Torrid is slated to open its 3,500 square foot store in late October in suite 1071 near the GAP Outlet.
These are the fifth and sixth new retailers to open this year in the outlet center at 18 Lightcap Road in Limerick, bringing the total number of stores in the Philadelphia Premium Outlets to 135, according to Kate Johnson, marketing director of the center which belongs to him. by Simon Property Group.
Vineyard Vines was founded in 1998 by brothers Shep and Ian Murray, who left their jobs the same day to do something new in a place they loved: Martha’s Vineyard. Vineyard Vines creates clothing and accessories for the whole family to “go out and live the good life,” according to the retailer’s website.
Torrid offers “on-trend” fashion in sizes 10-30, according to Johnson, and celebrates 20 years as a brick and mortar chain. Torrid has more than 500 stores in the United States and Canada, in addition to its online shopping site Torrid.com.
“These two stores will be fantastic additions to the center. We are proud to offer something for everyone, ”said Johnson.
She added that both stores are hiring but continue to look for additional staff. Those interested in jobs at Vineyard Vines, Torrid – or any other retailer in the center are encouraged to visit careers.simon.com, click on retailer jobs, and apply.
“Once you go to the website, you can see all of the retailers that are hiring,” Johnson said, adding that applicants can then select the retailer they’re interested in and click on the appropriate link.
Philadelphia Premium Outlets opened in 2007 with local retailers, pop-ups, and a list of what Johnson calls “Highly Wanted Retailers”.
“Our local client sees us as a one-stop-shop for the whole family, with brands of clothing, footwear and leather goods at a price they love,” Johnson said.
The hours of operation for the Philadelphia Premium Outlets are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday; 10 am-9pm Friday-Saturday and 10 am-7pm Sunday. Vacation times have not yet been announced.
