A FASHION expert revealed his simple hack to remove scuffs from your shoes – and it’ll cost you just £1.30.
Mbaire Wangui26, is a Kenyan fashion blogger based in Scotland who regularly shares her purchases and outfits of the day with her followers.
The mid-size fashionista from Perth says she loves heels and has a tip for keeping them looking like new.
Share the hack on Instagram – @mbairewangui – she said: “How to remove scuffs from patent leather heels!
“I’m a sucker for heels and I care about them, so I’d do anything to protect them.
“Hope this helps someone out there.”
In a short clip, Mbaire reveals that the only three items you need to get rid of scratches are sanitizer, ear tips/headphones and a cotton ball.
After a few rubs on the offending marks, the heels are back to their best.
Since the pandemic, most households will have hand sanitiser available – but otherwise the exact one from Carex Aloe Vera used by Mbaire will cost you just £1.30.
The shoe hack comes after Mbaire revealed the four easy ways to elevate a simple shirt and jeans combination into a chic outfit.
And the 26-year-old says you don’t have to go broke to look chic.
She regularly mixes budget purchases from Primark with high-end items from Karen Millen and Marks and Spencer for her elegant and classic outfits.
She said: “I have an eclectic style. I’m not very attached to the brand. If I see something I like, I’ll buy it and wear it.
“But I can’t afford designer items like Chanel and Dior.
“I’m realistic about my budget, so aim more for the premium brands.”
